MEET BRENT J. ROSENBAUM

Brent Rosenbaum is a full time mediator with decades of knowledge, experience, people skills, and success. With over fifteen hundred mediations, Brent brings to the table — whether it is in a conference room, residence, or just about any place a laptop can be found — a rich blend of wisdom, intuitiveness, and skill that only years of experience can yield.

HOW WE WORK

Brent knows that early involvement in a conflict makes a difference in the mediation outcome. He sets the table for success by stepping into a case immediately upon hire. Concerning cases already at the litigation phase, Brent reaches out to counsel to clarify the essential goals for their client as well as the obstacles and roadblocks that are present in the case. Everyone individual’s input is solicited in order to custom-tailor the mediation process. Brent shares his “Mediator’s Worksheet,” (his blueprint for the mediation) and conducts confidential pre-mediation calls to strategize what happens once the opening pleasantries are exchanged. Tensions and emotions of any mediation can be a wildcard. Brent’s seasoned experience smoothly adapts to everyone’s needs — making sure the mediation will reach its full potential.

KEEN EAR. ATTENTION TO DETAIL. HEART FOR WHAT MATTERS.

Brent’s interpersonal skills, patience, unwavering fairness, and unyielding tenacity help guide individuals to uncover the underlying root of an issue which ultimately helps bring resolution.

Unparalleled in his ability to do a “deep dive” and become fully immersed in your case, Brent gains the necessary understanding of the personal and emotional issues in each case — which oftentimes may be the ‘real’ reason for the legal dispute. Brent’s innate ability enables him to ferret-out hidden motivators and respond to them with ease. His style, technique, instinct and tenacity leave everyone feeling satisfied with the experience of being “heard,” and hopefully walk away with closure and resolution to allow for the healing process to begin.

Brent consistently maintains his neutrality while helping the parties assess their risk and as their agent of reality. Brent has been described by many mediation participants as being “an empathetic presence and an active listener” with “a calming voice and demeanor” which “allows the parties to openly express their emotions.” This style has been utilized to effect many positive outcomes.

When Brent is not devoting his mediation expertise to dispute resolution, he may be found applying the same tenacity completing marathons, crafting screenplays, and ranking the “best eats” internationally, or simply walking his dog ‘Grace.’
