Brent’s experience spans the entire gamut of employment law disputes, Brent has extensive experience in the areas of labor and employment, with a special emphasis on employment discrimination. He has mediated a wide variety of charges including, but not limited to, race and color discrimination (including racial harassment), sex discrimination (including pregnancy discrimination, sexual harassment, equal pay, sexual orientation and gender identity or expression), age discrimination, religious discrimination (including religious accommodation and dress and grooming policies), disability discrimination (including reasonable accommodation and undue hardship), national origin discrimination (including citizenship and immigration issues and English-only policies), genetic discrimination, and retaliation and harassment under various statutes. His mediations have also included non-discrimination related issues such as wage and hour violations, FMLA, wrongful termination, ERISA or OSHA.
